Model M by IBM
The IBM Model M is a type of computer keyboard designed to work with IBM PS/2 computers. It uses a buckling-spring mechanism, which lets out two clicks when tapped. It also has a tactile feel, which gives a physical connection to the keyboard.
There are numerous variations of the Model M keyboard. These include different key caps, key legends, and colors. In addition, some models have lock-light panels.

At the same time, he wanted to put the letters in order and avoid having the keys fall off. After five years of testing, he found that the best arrangement was to place common two-letter combinations on the opposite sides of the keyboard.
The shift key allowed for a consolidated keyboard
