Havit Magic Eagle Keyboard Color Change
In this section, we’ll discuss each backlit mode and the sub-modes of a particular mode, if any. We’ll explain how to change the color on the magic eagle Havit game series keyboard. So, learn the shortcut keys for each color and apply them to set your desired mode. Let’s move ahead.
Solid Rainbow Mode
When you turn on the backlit, the first mode you’ll see is the solid rainbow. As indicated by its name, the keyboard looks like a rainbow. There exist various sections, each having a different color. All the seven colors remain still at their positions and don’t move.
Solid Rainbow Mode has a sub-mode called marquee mode. You can activate this mode by pressing the backlit key. Once activated, you can give the command for its direction using Fn and left/right arrow keys. Based on your command, the light will move to the left or right.
Breathing Rainbow Mode
To switch solid rainbow into breathing rainbow mode, press Fn and Backlit keys. All the rainbow colors turn on and off at a specific interval in this mode. It’s called breathing mode as the lights get bright and dim alternately and follow the pattern without moving.
Breathing rainbow mode does not have a sub-mode. But you still have an option to make this mode appealing. What’s that? So, it’s changing the speed of breathing. You can increase or decrease the speed by pressing Fn and up or down arrow keys.
Single Color Mode
To switch breathing rainbow mode into the single color mode, follow the same step of pressing FN and Backlit keys. Once you turn on this mode, you can change the intensity using FN and up/down arrow keys. You’ll see only one color out of the seven rainbow colors.
Single Color Mode also has a sub-mode, no particular name, but it lets you change the colors. When in this mode, press the Backlit button, and the color will vary one after the other. This pattern will repeat, so to switch to the next mode, press FN and Backlit again.
Breathing Single Color Mode
Once you activate the breathing single color mode, you’ll see a single color getting bright and dim. This particular color will breathe at a normal speed at specific intervals. However, to change its speed, simply press FN and up/down arrow keys.
This backlit mode also has a sub-mode, allowing you to switch from one color to another in the same mode. If you want to change the color, press the Backlit key only. And yes, the next color will still breathe like the previous one. This pattern will repeat unless you switch this mode.
7-Color Breathing Mode
Wait, 7-color breathing mode is our favorite one, and it seems like a slideshow. We love the way each color changes by itself at a specific interval and repeats. This is relaxing when playing games or working on your projects as you’re typing and colors keep changing.
Unluckily, there is no sub-mode in this mode, and it would be great if there were one. Still, you can increase or decrease the breathing rate by pressing FN and up/down arrow keys. You can switch to this mode through the same keys, FN and Backlit, similar to the others.
On-Click Zone Lighting Mode
Lastly, the on-click zone lighting mode makes a fascinating impression. It feels like one presses a piano key, flashing light. The lights turn on only in a specific area where you press a button. They turn off within seconds until you press it again or press a key in another area.
This is the best one among the modes we have discussed till now, and most users prefer it. This mode is hassle-free, and you won’t need to use shortcuts for changing colors. The only odd thing is we don’t have a sub-mode here. If we had one, this mode could be more awesome.
So, that’s all — pretty simple, right? Yes, you just have to work with a few keys, and voila! There are 6 backlit modes on the Havit keyboard, and you can switch them quickly. All the backlit modes will change in the same order as listed above, from solid to on-click mode.
We hope you got the answer to your question about how to change colors on a Havit keyboard. Just press the FN and Backlit keys to switch between modes. You can return to the first mode right after the last one. One drawback is we don’t have a direct shortcut for each mode.
